News21.07.2008 11:07 July 21. Gazprom board chairman, Alexei Miller, and Rosneft president, Sergei Bogdanchikov, have signed an agreement on cooperation in gas distribution issues in the Far Eastern Federal District, Gazprom's information department reported. The parties have agreed that Gazprom will purchase 25% plus 1 share in Daltransgaz from Rosneft. Gazprom will provide Rosneft with access to the free capacities of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline. Gazprom and Rosneft will conduct joint negotiations with the Sakhalin-1 consortium on Gazprom's acquisition of 1.5-2 bcm of gas for delivery to Primorye Territory at contractual prices. The parties have also decided to go on with the negotiations with the consortium on Gazprom's acquisition of the second phase of the Sakhalin-1 project to supply gas to the Far Eastern regions. Gazprom's spokespersons in the regulatory bodies of the Sakhalin-2 consortium will consider the possibility of producing additional gas at the project to supply gas to the Primorye Territory. Rosneft, jointly with Gazprom specialists, will perform diagnostics of the Okha-Komsomolsk-on-Amur gas pipeline with a view to expanding its throughput capacity to 4.5 bcm of gas per annum. Gazprom will ensure phased construction and development of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas transportation system, including immediate construction of the Khabarovsk-Vladivostok section for commissioning in 2011.
